Galvanized steel wire: good packaging+stable transportation, corrosion-resistant and easy to use
Galvanized steel wire is a corrosion-resistant metal product made by coating the surface of low-carbon steel wire with zinc. With the advantage of corrosion resistance, it is widely used in fields such as construction, communication, agriculture, and transportation. The product line diameter is 0.15mm-18mm, mainly packaged by I-shaped rollers (over 90%), with a small amount of coarse diameter (over 8mm) bundled with wire rods; Divided into hot-dip galvanizing (thick zinc layer, heavy anti-corrosion) and electroplating galvanizing (thin zinc layer, light anti-corrosion), packaging and transportation should focus on preventing damage to the zinc layer, moisture, and rolling.
On the packaging, the I-shaped roller adopts multi-layer protection: the inner layer is insulated from moisture and friction with rust proof paper or PE film; The middle layer is fixed with high-strength packing tape and protected with a protective plate to prevent deformation; Use corrugated cardboard boxes for short distance transportation, IPPC standard wooden boxes for export/outdoor use, and cover with waterproof cloth for open transportation. When bundling the wire rods, first wrap them with PE bubble wrap and cover them with woven bags, then tie them with steel strips for at least 4 layers to prevent scattering. All packaging must be labeled with product information and "anti inversion" and "moisture-proof" signs, and heavy items must be labeled with a "heavy item" label.
During transportation, collision and compression should be avoided during loading: I-shaped wheels should be vertically stacked with buffer pads, and the horizontal stacking of wire rods should not exceed 3 layers. Priority should be given to closed trucks or containers, and for open transportation, waterproof cloth must be tightly covered. Driving requires speed control to prevent sudden braking and turning, and professional equipment should be used for unloading. Rough operation is strictly prohibited. Before and after transportation, it is necessary to count and inspect the packaging and product integrity to ensure quality.
